Limited Warranty Policy

Effective Date: May 12, 2025


This Limited Warranty (“Warranty”) is provided by HWLT FZE (“HWLT,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), a company registered in the United Arab Emirates under registration number 2465 with a registered office at Dubai World Trade Center, Sheikh Rashid Tower 04 FZF 312 SRT. This Warranty applies to our hardware electronic device: the ERA Wallet (model EWU-Y-1) (“Product”).

1. Warranty Coverage

HWLT warrants that the Product, under normal use and conditions, will be free from material defects in workmanship and materials for a period of one (1) year from the date of original retail purchase ("Warranty Period").


The Warranty Period begins on the date of original retail purchase, as evidenced by a valid receipt or invoice. If no proof of purchase is provided, the Warranty Period may instead be calculated from the manufacturing date, based on the Product’s serial number.


If a Covered Defect arises during the Warranty Period, HWLT will, at its discretion:

Repair the defective Product using new or refurbished parts;

Replace the Product with a new or equivalent-to-new device of the same model;

Refund the original purchase price.


A “Covered Defect” refers to a material fault in workmanship or materials that prevents the Product from functioning in accordance with its published specifications under normal usage.

The Warranty covers the cost of labor and materials required to address a Covered Defect. We will reimburse reasonable, standard-rate shipping costs for returning the Product to us if a Covered Defect is confirmed.


In the event of a Product replacement, the original Warranty Period shall continue to apply and will not be reset or extended, except where a longer period is required by applicable consumer protection law.

2. Renewed Warranty Following Repairs

If the Product is repaired under warranty, the repaired unit will benefit from an extended warranty of one (1) year from the date of repair.


3. Warranty Claim Procedure

To make a claim under this Warranty:

Contact our support team at 📧 support@hwlt.io or 📱Telegram @ERAwlt_support_bot within 30 days of discovering the issue;

Provide a description of the defect, proof of purchase, and your contact details;

Follow any troubleshooting instructions provided.


If the issue remains unresolved after remote troubleshooting, we will provide you with instructions on how to return the Product to us for further inspection and diagnostics. Upon receiving the Product, we will conduct diagnostics and provide a written report of our findings.


Important Recommendations Before Sending the Product:

Back up all data and ensure your recovery phrase is securely stored.

Do not include your recovery phrase or recovery sheet in the return package.

Do not share this information with anyone, including HWLT.

Only return the hardware device.

Any additional items, documents, or packaging materials included will be immediately destroyed and cannot be returned.

Do not send your recovery phrase or any accessories.

We are not responsible for loss of data or accessories sent with the Product.


4. What Is Not Covered

This Warranty does not apply to:

Accidental damage, misuse, neglect, or unauthorized modification;

Cosmetic wear or normal aging;

Consumables (e.g., batteries);

Data loss, including loss of cryptocurrency, private keys, or access credentials;

Products damaged by improper installation, electrical surges, or third-party software;

Devices used in commercial, rental, or demonstration settings.

5. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:

HWLT will not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including data loss or financial loss;

HWLT’s total liability under this Warranty shall not exceed the original purchase price of the Product;

Nothing in this Warranty excludes liability for fraud, gross negligence, or death/personal injury caused by our negligence.

6. Legal Rights

This Warranty gives you specific legal rights. You may also have additional rights under consumer protection laws in your country. This Warranty does not affect or limit any such rights.
