Limited Warranty for One Year
Rights and Benefits
This voluntary limited manufacturer warranty ("Limited Warranty") is provided by HWLT FZE, a company registered in the United Arab Emirates, with company number 2465, and a registered office located at Dubai World Trade Center, Sheikh Rashid Tower 04 FZF 312 SRT ("HWLT", "We", "Us", or "Our"). The Limited Warranty applies to electronic devices ERA wallet (model EWU-Y-1) and does not restrict consumer rights provided by applicable consumer protection laws.
Warranty Period
The Warranty Period is 1 year from the date of the original retail purchase. The start date is determined by the date shown on the purchase receipt or invoice. If proof of purchase is unavailable, the warranty period may be calculated from the product’s manufacturing date, based on its serial number.
If a Covered Defect occurs within the Warranty Period, HWLT will, at its discretion:
-Replace the Product
with an equivalent product of comparable type and quality that is new or equivalent to new; or
-Refund the original purchase price.
Extended Warranty After Repair:
If the product is repaired under warranty, the warranty period for the repaired product is extended by one (1) additional year from the date of repair completion.
Product Covered by the Warranty
Only the ERA wallet model EWU-Y-1 is covered by this warranty.
What is Covered
The Limited Warranty covers the cost of labor and materials required to address a Covered Defect. We will also reimburse the shipping costs for sending the Product to Us if the defect is confirmed.
In the case of a Product replacement, the warranty period remains as per the original Warranty Period and does not extend, except where required by law.
If the Product is repaired, the warranty is extended by an additional 1 year from the repair completion date.
What is Not Covered
This Limited Warranty does not apply to the following cases:
• Accidental damage or damage caused by external factors (fire, natural disasters, force majeure).
• Cosmetic damage or parts considered consumable (e.g., batteries).
• Normal wear and tear or damage caused by aging of the Product.
• Damage caused by misuse, negligence, intentional actions, unauthorized repairs, modifications, or failure to follow manufacturer instructions.
• Loss of data, cryptocurrency, or other digital assets due to Product malfunction, viruses, applications, drivers, or software installations.
• Defects or damage covered by other warranties or insurance.
• Products used for commercial, educational, rental, or industrial purposes, as well as demonstration or store display models.
Limitation of Liability
We are not liable for any damages, including loss of profits, business reputation, data, cryptocurrency, etc., except in cases of fraud, gross negligence, death, or personal injury caused by our negligence, or where liability cannot be excluded by law.
Our maximum liability under this Limited Warranty is limited to the original purchase price of the Product.
How to Submit a Warranty Claim
1. Contact our technical support team via email support@hwlt.io or telegram support.
2. Submit your claim within 30 days of discovering the defect and provide the following:
• A description of the suspected defect.
• The purchase date and proof of purchase.
• Your contact details (name, address, phone number, email).
3. If the issue is unresolved after following the specialist's recommendations, we will provide instructions for sending the Product to us.
4. Upon receiving the Product, we will conduct diagnostics and provide a report with conclusions.
Important Recommendations
Before sending the Product for warranty service:
• Back up all data and ensure your Recovery Phrase is secure
• Do not include your Recovery Phrase or Recovery Sheet
in the package when returning the Product, and do not share this information with anyone, including us.
• Only send the hardware device without any additional materials. Any documents included with the Product will be immediately destroyed.
